Renteria Singles In 10th, Reds Win.

By HD.

The Cincinnati Reds last win was in Extra Innings in Milwaukee. Today, their last win, was in Extras also. The Reds won in 10 innings today, 4-3. Here's what happened.....

The Marlins had a 1-0 lead for 8 straight innings, until the 8th when Wes Helms hit a 2 run double. Now 3-0 Marlins.

The Reds got off to a quick start in the 8th, when Jonny Gomes singled to score Brandon Phillips.

Then, Miguel Cairo singled to score Phillips. Then Paul Janish did something huge.

Janish singled to score Cairo, and the Reds have tied the game at 3.

The Reds went into extras, and thats when the Reds got the bases loaded with no outs, then Hernandez grounded out, then Paul Janish popped out to first. Just when you think its over, it wasn't.

Edgar Renteria came up as a pinch hitter, and singled to left and Gomes scored, giving the Reds a 4-3 win.

The Reds are now 14-13 and will face the Marlins tomorrow.
