Reds-Pirates Preview.

By HD.

The Cincinnati Reds will face the Pittsburgh Pirates starting tonight, so we have a series preview of the Reds first 4 game series of the year.

GAME 1 FRI 4:10 PT: Bronson Arroyo has had great success vs. the Pirates in his career, hopefully, he can keep going and bump to 3-0, but the Reds face Pirates ace who the Reds can never beat, Charlie Morton, who is 1-0 this season with a 2.08 ERA. The Reds bats will have their hands full vs. Morton. MY PREDICTION: Reds get by with this one, Arroyo spectacular, 5-2.

GAME 2 SAT 10:10 AM PT: Edison Volquez has had sluggish starts to this 2010 season, but this one will be his easiest. Volquez is 2-0 but with a 5.82 ERA. The Reds will face James Mcdonald who is 0-0 with a 5.56 ERA. MY PREDICTION: Reds win again, 6-3.

GAME 3 SUN 10:10 AM PT: Mike Leake had a bad start vs. the D-backs, and this game will be different. Leake is 1-0 with an ERA of 6.75. The Reds will face Jeff Karstens. MY PREDICTION: The Reds lineups on Sundays are pretty much never good, so I say the Reds bats go cold, Reds lose, 2-1.

GAME 4 MON 4:10 PT: Sam LeCure had a great outing vs. the Padres, but the Bullpen blew it for him, and because of that, he is 0-0 this season. He will face Kevin Correia. MY PREDICTION: Joey Votto and Scott Rolen have a great game, and the Reds blank the Pirates, 8-0.

So thats the Preview!
