Reds Fall Apart In 9th, Can't Sweep Padres.

By HD.

The Cincinnati Reds were looking for a 3 game sweep of the San Diego Padres today. Travis Wood had a amazing outing, but the Reds couldn't finish, losing 3-2 here's what happened....

The Reds ended the early 0-0 lead in the 4th, when Juan Fransisco reached on a fielders choice, and Joey Votto would score.

In the 5th, 2010 NL MVP Joey Votto, doubled to center, and speedy Drew Stubbs would score.

The Bullpen fell apart for the Reds in the last 3 innings of the game. In the 7th, the Padres got on the board with a Sac Fly by Nick Hundley to score Chris Headley.

In the 8th, The Padres tied it at 2 when Jorge Cantu grounded out to 3rd, but Orlando Hudson would score. 2-2.

In the 9th, Nick Masset, fell apart, having the bases loaded with 2 outs, Orlando Hudson hits a Game winning walk-off single. 3-2 Padres FINAL.

Nick Masset is terrible, if you don't think so, you must be an idiot. The Reds will kick off a 4 game series vs. Pittsburgh on Friday. GO REDS!!!!
