By HD. The Oregon State Beavers were pounded in Game 1, then bounced back to win game 2, and today, they were ready to win game 3, they did, 8-4. Here's what happened.....
Ben Wetzler was on the hill for the Beavers, went 6 innings and gave up 7 hits and struck out only 1 but didn't walk anybody.
In the 1st, Danny Hayes had an RBI Single to score Michael Miller (pictured right).
Arizona got a run in the first also, but the Beavers exploded with 5 runs in the 2nd inning.
Ryan Barnes singled to score 2, then Danny Hayes doubled to score Barnes then Andrew Susac would also double to score Hayes, making it a 5-1 game.
The Beavers get one more, with a Jared Norris singled to score Susac.
The Beavers got another run in the 3rd, on a wild pitch and Carter Bell would score. 7-1 Beavers.
Zona got 2 runs in the 6th, making it 7-3, but Oregon State added 1 more run in the 9th with a passed Ball to score Jared Norris.
Arizona scored 1 in the 9th as the Beavers Tony Bryant got out of a Bases loaded jam to win 8-4.
The Beavers get their 20th win of the season, 20-7.
