By HD. The Oregon state Beavers were looking for their 10th straight win today, they did, winning 4-2. Here's what happened.....
James Nygren was on the hill for the Beavers, he went 8 innings, gave up 7 hits and struck out 8.
The Beavers scored first in the 1st, with a Dropped fly ball and Brian Stamps scored. 1-0 Beavers.
The Cougars tied it at 1 with a solo homer in the 4th, but the Beavers answered back in the 7th.
Parker Berberet doubled to score Ryan Dunn and Luke Acosta and the Beavers now took back the lead, 3-1.
The Beavers got another run in the 7th when Brian Stamps reached on a infield single and Berberet scored.
The Beavers won 4-2 and the Beavers went to 28-7 on the season. #3 IN THE COUNTRY!!!
