Reds-Diamondbacks Series Preview.

The Reds and the Diamondbacks will start their 3 game series today at 6:40 PT.

It should be a good series, so just sit back and listen as I break down this 3 game series.

Here we go!

GAME 1 Today 6:40 PT: Travis Wood will be pitching for the Reds who is 1-0 after a great opening start last saturday vs. The Brewers. Wood will be facing Ian Kennedy of the D-Backs who is a quality pitcher, he is 0-0 this season. The Diamondbacks are playing their first game at home this season, they are 2-3. Chris Young, (pictured right), for the D-Backs had a huge game on Wednesday vs. The Cubs when he had a Triple, a double and drove in 2 runs. Drew Stubbs will have to be a good lead 0ff hitter today if the Reds want to win. Travis Wood only gave up 2 runs to the Brewers, vs. a pretty young talented D-backs team, he will have to pitch great to get a win. MY PREDICTION: Travis Wood shines again and the Reds spoil the Diamondbacks home opener, 5-1.

GAME 2 SATURDAY 4-9-11 5:10 PT: The Veteran Bronson Arroyo will pitch for the Reds, who has been dealing with Mono, but had a great outing vs. the Brewers last Sunday, getting a win to go to 1-0. He will face Daniel Hudson, who was had great season last season with Arizona, is 0-1 this season with a 4.50 ERA. MY PREDICTION: The Reds clinch the series, with a 3-1 win and Arroyo has a awesome outing.

GAME 3 SUNDAY 4-10-11 1:10 PT: The Reds will send Mike Leake to the mound who had a great outing vs. the Astros in Game 1 of that series to get a win to go to 1-0. Joe Saunders will pitch for the D-Backs, Saunders is a left hander, and the Reds never play well vs. Left Handers.MY PREDICTION: Reds don't get the sweep, they lose 1-2.
