Beaver Baseball Sweep #17 Stanford.

The Oregon State Beavers were looking for their 9th straight win today, and looking to sweep the Stanford Cardinal today. They did, 6-4. Here's what happened.....

The Beavers got off to a slow start to the game, giving up 2 quick runs in the bottom of the 1st, but in the 3rd, the Beavers had their chances, and they took them.

In the 3rd, Ryan Barnes singled, and Tyler Smith scored on an error, but Stanford would not be worried, they still had the lead. But, Kavin Keyes tied the game up at 2 when he reached on an infield singled and no one was out and Michael Miller scored.

Next, Danny Hayes was walked on 4 pitches, and the Beavers took a 3-2 lead and never looked back.

The next runs were scored by Oregon State in the 7th inning when Kavin Keyes did it again with a 2 run RBI Single through the left side, scoring Ryan Barnes and Jared Norris.

The Beavers got an insurance run in the 8th when Ryan Dunn scored on a wild pitch. Making it 6-2 favoring the Beavers.

Stanford scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th, but couldn't score anymore, and the Beavers hold on defeating the Cardinal 6-4.

The Beavers pick up their 9th straight win they are 27-7 overall and 8-1 in the Pac-10.
