Beavers Win The Series With A Walk-Off.

By HD.

The Oregon State Beavers were looking to clinch the series today vs. #5 Arizona State. They did, with a Walk-off from an un-likely hero. Here's what happened....

The Beavers were down early, again, just like yesterday, 2-0 in the 3rd, but crawled their way back.

The Beavers scored 2 runs in their half of the 3rd with a 2 run single by Jared Norris to score Ryan Barnes and Michael Miller.

ASU scored 4 runs in the 5th, one with a 3 run homer and the Sun Devils had a 6-2 lead until another huge 7th inning, just like Last night.

The Beavers scored 3 runs in this inning, starting when Ryan Dunn singled to score Kavin Keyes. Then, Michael Miller got hit by a pitch to bring in Carter Bell. Ryan Dunn would then score on a Fielders choice. Now 6-5, end of the 7th.

The Beavers were down to 2 outs in the 8th down 6-5, When Tyler Smith singled to score speedy Brian Stamps, and the Beavers have now tied it, 6-6.

The Beavers went 1-2-3 in the top of the 9th, but the Beavers were prepared in the bottom of the 9th.

The Beavers got the bases loaded with 1 out, and Brian Stamps would be walked. He, was the Un-likely Hero. The Beavers clinch the series and will look to sweep tomorrow, the Beavers are now 23-7.
