Reds-Padres Preview.

By HD.

Tonight, a tough series for the Reds in San Diego will start tonight, at 7:05 PT. It should be and OK series, not the best.

So join me as I break down this series preview, Reds vs. Padres!

GAME 1 TONIGHT 7:05 PT: Edinson Volquez will pitch for the Reds, who had a horrible start to opening day, then had a bad start vs. the Astros but the Reds game back to win, 12-4, and Volquez got his first win of the season. He is 1-0 with a 7.36 ERA. Not the best start to a season, could be better. Padres Ace Mat Latos will pitch for the Padres, who missed his first start this season after starting the season on the DL. Now it would be nice to sneak one out at Petco, but tonight it should be a good start for Mat Latos. MY PREDICTION: The Reds will have a tough start to this tough 3 game series, and I say, Padres will beat the Reds 1-0.

GAME 2 TUESDAY 7:05 PT: Sam LeCure had a rough outing vs. the Astros to start his 2011 season, but this game should be a real bounce back. LeCure is 0-0 with a 3.00 ERA. He sould get this one to win. Clayton Richard will be on the hill for the Dads, (thats Padres in English), he is 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA. He is a pretty good pitcher. So is LeCure. MY PREDICTION: Reds bounce back from Game 1 shutout to beat the Padres, 4-3. Close game.

GAME 3 WEDNESDAY 3:35 PT: Travis Wood had a pretty rough outing vs. Arizona after losing 13-2, getting pretty roughed up, but he is 1-1 with a 5.25 ERA. Tim Stauffer will go on the hill for the Daddies, he is 0-1 with a 5.06 ERA, he is a pretty OK pitcher. MY PREDICTION: Reds rough up Padres and win it, 8-4.

And thats about It GO REDS!!!
