By HD. Something is wrong with Johnny Cueto, a starting pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds.
Johnny Cueto, left early yesterday in a win for the Reds over the Rockies.
Last week, he left early because his forearm was barking like a wild dog. Literally, it was going BARK, BARK, BARK!
Haha, no Im just playing. But his arm was really hurting.
After one long eventful inning, Cueto was gone after giving up two runs, two hits and hitting a batter while throwing 33 pitches. Cueto's fastball, normally in the 92 to 95 miles an hour range, was clocked by a scout behind home plate at 87 to 90.
Cueto exited the ballpark after the second innings, escorted by assistant team trainer Steve Baumann and minor-league pitching instructor Mario Soto. Before they boarded a bus for the mile trip to the training room, Soto said to writers, "He is going to see a doctor right now and he'll catch you guys later."
It's not good that Johnny Is hurt, he is a great pitcher. We will keep you updated if more news comes.
