Oregon state blows out Hartford in first game of Double header.

By HD.

On Friday, The Oregon State Beavers were going to play Hartford, but, there was rain and the game was cancelled and was played today. The Beavs won, 14-3. Here's what happened.....

Sam Gaviglio was on the hill for Oregon state going 6 innings, 2 hits, and fanned 6 to pick up a win.

In the 1st, The Beavers had the bases loaded with 1 out with Parker Berberet up to bat Parker would drill a double into the gap and all three runs would score making it a 3-0 game just like that. Parker would score on and error on the same play so it is sorta a inside the park GRAND SLAM!

The Beavs got 2 runs in the 4th, with a Max Gordan RBI Sac Fly witch scored Jake Rodriguez. Then, Garret Nash would double to bring in Tyler Smith and th Beavers would lead it 5-0 after 5 innings of play.

Now in the 6th, the Beavers scored 8 RUNS, 8!!!!!! Starting with 1 out and the bases loaded and Garret Nash got walked to bring a run.

Next batter would be Andrew Suscac who had an RBI single only to bring in one run, that would be Tyler Smith.

Bases still loaded now, but Danny Hayes would be walked again to bring in Max Gordan. The Beavers would then be leading 8-0. Next batter was Parker Berberet who already has 3 RBI's in the game but would strike out.

But the next batter cleared the bases with a 3 run double. Carter Bell hit a 3 run double to score Brian Stamps, Andrew Suscac and Danny Hayes and the Beavers would lead it by double digits, 11-0.

After a Jake Rodriguez single to send Bell to 3rd, Tyler Smith hit an RBI single to send in Bell and Rodriguez went to 2nd. 14-0 Beavers.

Oregon state will have to face Hartford again tonight. And After a great performance like that, can the #22 Beavers win again???
