The Portland Trail Blazers were on a roll. The Blazers beat the Orlando Magic last night, but tonight was a even better oppenent, the Miami Heat. The Blazers were on a 3 game winning streak, can they make it 4?? They did, 105-96, here's what happened....
The Blazers were off to a quick start to start the game, but a late 1st quarter surge, Miami tied the game at 25.
The Blazers were down, 39-35 in the 2nd but with a 2 from Brandon Roy, the Blazers got it closer and then took a 40-39 lead. The Blazers would not trail for the rest of the half taking a 57-51 lead.
Blazers would have a 77-75 lead at the end of 3rd after a Patty Mills long bank jumper. The 4th quarter is were it got intense.
The Heat were back in it with a Dwayne Wade big jumper to make it a 91-87 lead. Later, a 93-91 lead for Portland, Brandon Roy would drill a 3 pointer, putting the Trail Blazers up by 5.
Andre Miller would make a layup putting Portland up by 7, LaMarcus Aldridge would then Drain a little turn around J, Putting the Blazers up by 8.
Dwayne Wade would then drill a three, but Wesley Matthews clinched a huge road win with a deep 3 pointer, putting the Trail Blazers up, 105-96, and that's how it ended.
The Blazers won their 4th straight, their 7th straight road win, and giving the 3rd place in the East Miami Heat their 5th straight loss.
The win puts Portland a season high, 10 games over .500. The Blazers are now tied with Denver for 5th in the West and 2nd in Northwest. And now just 3 game behind the division leading Thunder.
