By HD. On Tuesday, the Portland Trail Blazers signed a Contract extension for Head Coach, Nate McMillan.
McMillan, has coached for 6 years now for the Blazers, even he was there when the Trail Blazers were the, "Jail-Blazers."
He has a 234-239 (.495) record with the Trail Blazers and a 446-422 (.514) overall mark in 11 NBA seasons with Portland and Seattle. He is the second longest tenured Trail Blazers head coach behind only Jack Ramsay.
Last year, Nate came in 2nd in the Coach of the Year award, but this year, In my opinion, is the leading canidant for Coach of the Year.
Nate is the first youngest coach to ever reach 400 wins ever. He has been a great coach and hopefully will stay longer with the Blazers and lead them, to a NBA Championship.
