Beavers beat Stanford to advance in Pac-10 Tournament.

The Oregon State Beavers on wendsday were in the opening round of the Pac-10 Tournament vs. the Stanford Cardinal. The Beavers won, 69-67. Here's what happened....

The Cardinal only shot 11 % in the 1st half but they only were down by 8 at the half. The Beavers Ahmad Starks had 3 threes in the 1st half.

The Beavers were leading it, 22-12 one point in the 1st half with only 3:05 to play. But the score would be 26-18 at the half.

In the second half, the Cardinal tied it at 34, but Ahmad starks would score a driving layup and then Joe Burton would make 1 out of 2 FT's.

The Beavs later then took a 48-43 lead, but the cardinal Jermey Green would hit a 3 pointer to trim it to 2.

Now to the end of the game, the Beavers led it 66-62 until Jermey Green drilled another 3 pointer and the cardinal have trimmed it to 1. Jared Cunningham would make 1 FT and the Cardinal wouldnt get another shot off as the beavers won, 69-67.

Jared Cunningham had 24 Points, Devon Collier added 19 and Ahmad Starks had 15.

The Beavers will play the Arizona Wildcats today. GO BEAVS!
