Beavers once again blows out Hartford in second game of Double header.

The Oregon State Beavers were just so solid in their first game of the double header, winning 14-3 and Sam Gaviglio got the win. But, would Oregon state be too tired to play in the 2nd game of the double header??? Answer: Daily Double. Just a joke. Have you ever watched jeopardy?? Haha. Well, the real answer is no, The Beavers even did better in the 2nd game beating Hartford, 16-1. Here's what happened.....

Ben Wetzler was on the hill for the Beavs, he went 7 innings, gave up 2 hits, and struck out 9. He made one mistake the whole game giving a Solo Blast to Hartford's Matt Walker.

The Beavers however would bounce back, scoring 4 runs in the 4th, a lead off walk by Andrew Suscac, then Parker Berberet would Triple to score Suscac. 1-1. Next, Jake Rodriguez would double down the left field line to score Suscac, 2-1 Beavers.

With the bases loaded in the same inning, Brian Stamps would double to left field to score Tyler Smith and Jake Rodriguez. 4-1 Beavs.

The Beavers in the 5th would score 2 runs, leading off with a Andrew Suscac double then Parker Berberet would double and Suscac would score. Next batter would be Jake Rodriguez, and then he would double to left center and Berberet would make it to 3rd. Later in the inning, Max Gordan would have a Sac fly to put the Beavers up 6-1 after 5 innings of play.

The Beavers SCORED AGAIN in the 6th with a Andrew Suscac solo Homer.

Already leading 7-1, the Beavers EXPLODED in the 7th would a total of 6 runs. Rodriguez lead off with a single, Tyler Smith would drill a double and there would be men on the corners with 0 outs. Kavin Keyes would then have a RBI single to score Rodriguez and Smith. 9-1. Max Gordan would be walked, and Garrett Nash would have a RBI single to score Keyes. 10-1.

In the same inning, Luke Acosta would double down the Left field line to score Max Gordan. Jared Norris would soon have a RBI groundout to score Garrett Nash. Next play, Parker Berberet would have a RBI single to score Luke Acosta. At, the end of the 7th inning, the Oregon state Beavers would be DOMINATING Hartford, 13-1.

Oregon state scored 3 more in the 8th, with a Luke Acosta 3 run double.

The Beavers win again vs. Hartford winning by double digits today in both of the Games and the #22 Beavers would go to 7-3 and Hartford played their first game today, they are 0-2 GO BEAVERS!
