The Portland Trail Blazers were looking for a big road win over the Orlando Magic tonight. The Magic were 4th in the East and without Dwight Howard, can the Blazers get a win? They did, 89-85. Here's what happened.....
LaMarcus Aldridge went for 24 and his teamate Andre Miller added 15 points as the Blazers deafeated the Howard-less Magic 89-85 on Monday night.
Dwight Howard, picked up his 16th Technical of the season which made him suspended from one game.
The Magic led it 77-76 with a Ryan Anderson 3 , but with 1 FT and then a Gerald Wallace tip in, the Blazers would take a 81-79.
Wesley Matthews would drain a 3 later, making it a 88-83 game but, Ryan Anderson's lay-up earlier was waved off, and the Trail Blazers would win the game, 89-85.
The Blazers went to 36-27 on the season and completed a season sweep of the Orlando Magic.
