Man, how bad are the NBA refs today? I will tell you now.
They cost The Portland Trail blazers a win last night just before the end of regulation. Here's what happened....
Under a 1:00 left in the game, Blazers leading 87-80. Blazers have the ball, Nicolas Batum, shoots a three for the Dagger! Short. The three could have changed the whole game.
In the last 1:00, the Lakers where asking to be put away. Leaving Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews open 2 times but the Blazers couldnt hit. The Lakers had the ball next and Ron Artest drilled a 3 with under :40 left. 87-83.
The Blazers can still win it right? Nope we blow it again with a turnover and the Lakers get it back and boom! Kobe Bryant hits a Fade away jumper. 87-85. Now this is were the Refs got bad.
LaMarcus Aldridge was hit hard by Pau Gasol and missed a lay-up. The Refs killed us. Then Bryant hits a garbage shot right of the backboard then bounces around a couple times. Tied 87.
The Lakers ended up winning in OT. 106-101. But, hey, Blazer fans have nothing to hand your head about. Still a lot of games to play. GO BLAZERS!
