The Oregon state beavers baseball team has won again, beating the Gonzaga Bulldogs again in the 1st game of a double header. The 2nd game will be vs. Fresno State. Anyways the Beavs won 4-2 here's what happened....
The Beavs jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead on a Tyler Smith RBI groundout to score Brian Stamps. Gonzaga starter, Tyler Olsen did not impress today.
But Gonzaga would get on the board with a single by Royce Bollinger, but Edman for the Zags would be thrown out at home 1-1.
The Beavers would retake the lead in the 3rd with a single by Acosta. But Oregon state's catcher Andrew Suscac would be thrown out at home.
Today, Pitcher Ben Wetzler went 4.2 innings in his First ever start.
The Beavers would score in the 4th and 5th with a Sac fly in the 4th by Garrett Nash to score Jake Rodriguez. In the 5th, Andrew Suscac would score on a wild pitch by reliver Aaron Brooks.
The Beavers went on to win 4-2. Big win of the first game of a double header. Tonight, the Beavs will play Fresno State at 6:05 PT 9:05 ET. A lot of people will be watching the All-star game probley, but I say no. Watch this!
