By Hunter Hendrickson The Last time the Beavers beat The Washington Huskies was Feburary 22,2007, That streak has been Now Broken.
The Oregon state beavers pulled out a huge win over the Washington Huskies on Thursday 68-56.
The Beavers were led By Jared Cunningham who had 19 Points after getting off to a very slow start to the game.
The Beavers Took a 53-50 lead then never trailed in the game again. Calvin Haynes also added 11 points for the Beavers.
Washington coming into this game was 22 in the nation, (based on the OMOC Sports poll), and tied for first in the Pac-10 with 20 Arizona.
Near the end of the game Washington started to bomb up three pointers and couldnt make any of them. The Beavers Out-rebounded the Huskies, 47-32.
The Huskie PG's were Terrible tonight. Isaiah Thomas had 7 Turnovers, Venoy Overton only had 4 points in a struggling Performance.
Jared Cunningham Said, "I am excited and hopefully we will beat Washington state and get a Sweep."
No Doubt Jared Is right. A Huge win for the beavers who go to 9-12 and 4-6 in the Pac-10. Huskies however will drop in the OMOC Sports poll.
