James Rodgers Granted medical Hardship.

By Hunter Hendrickson

Oregon state Senior WR and KR and PR James Rodgers, has been granted Medical hardship and will be able to Play in 2011.

James Rodgers has been a Major Impact to the Beavers team, same with his Brother, Jacquizz Rodgers. The Beavers only one 5 games last year and mostly due to James Rodgers being injured.

James got Injured vs. Arizona in Tuscon when He got his Knee Twisted Backwards and was not a pretty sight. He would leave and never return. Rodgers was already Impacting the Beavers despite having 2 losses when he left.

"I'm thankful for this opportunity and that I have another chance to play at Oregon State," Rodgers said. "I want to thank the fans and everyone for their support."

Rodgers will likely enter his senior year as a postseason Honors candidate after being preseason All-American according to several publications prior to the 2010 season and was a first team All-Pac-10 performer in 2009.

And Who cares about Terrell Pryor, or Andy Dalton or even Cam Newton. James Rodgers is my pick for the 2011 Heisman. Him and his brother have done so much for this beaver squad.

And not to mention, James Rodgers was with the beavers when they got three wins. (Louisville, Arizona State, and Arizona. The game he got injured on). The Beavers had only 2 wins when James left and was injured. (Califorina and USC). So losing James hurts this Beavers team badly.

"We always believed that James met the requirements to gain a fifth year," head coach Mike Riley said. "But it is certainly nice to make everything official. James is a special person and a special player. I'm excited to get to work with him for another year."

And the Beavers will Certinley need James Rodgers. Thanks for Reading.
