By Hunter Hendrickson. On Sunday night, their was plenty of Fans watching Seattle Blowout St.louis to clinch a Playoff spot, but I can name one game that was better than that by FAR!!!! Oregon state beavers vs. Arizona Wildcats. The Beavers won 76-75. Heres what happened.....
Oregon state got down early 18-13 but would race back to take tie it at 28. The Beavers got awesome Playing by Sophmore Joe Burton again. Burton had 17 points on Thursday night vs. Arizona st.
The Beavers would be in a tight battle in the second half with the Cats, but we would start to pull away with a 49-43 lead by "THE SNAKE" Calvin Haynes.
The Cats would come battling back to tie it at 51 with a Layup By HOMO Jones. Im sorry Excuse My Languge Larmont Jones.
But not soon after that Joe Burton would make 2 clutch Free Throws to take back a 53-51 lead. And the Beavers would later take a 59-53 lead with only 6:21 left By THE SNAKE Calvin Haynes Layup.
During this game, Jared Cunningham would DUNK RIGHT OVER HOMO JONES!WOWOWOWOWZEE. And look at that the Beavers took a 66-62 lead with 2:56 left. Cunningham would also tie the Free Throw record at 34 in this game But would miss his 35.
The Beavers took at 70-68 lead with under a minute Left in the game But Homo Jones made a Layup and it would be tied at 70.
The Beavers made some Clutch Free throws to take a 74-70 lead. But Zona hit a Shot and made it a 74-72 lead. "THE SNAKE" Calvin Haynes made some Free Throws and we won it 76-75.
The Beavers are 7-6 and now 2-0 in the Pac-10 tied for 2nd in the Pac-10 with Washington State, and that, is who we play next.
