Reds The Favorite, but NL central Wide open.

By Hunter Hendrickson

In recent years, The NL central has been wide open. And it looks like it will stay the same in 2011. With the Cubs and the Brewers making some additions to their teams. Heres what might happen....

In 2008 Reds had a bad season And so did every team in the NL central exepct for the Cubs who won the division, The Year after in 2009, The Cardinals won the division and then in 2011, The Cincinnati Reds had a 91-71 record and won the NL central with a Jay Bruce walk-off homer. Heres the predictions for this year...

The Cubs made a Free agent move getting Tampa Bay Catcher-1st baseman Carlos Pena who only had a 196. Average last year as the Rays lost in the Divisional series. The Milwaukee Brewers made a Move Trading 4 players for the 2009 AL Cy young winner, Zack Grenike. Who had a Horrible season last year with the royals.

However, The Cards, Astros, and the Pirates did not make pretty much any moves. Looks like another bad season for Wiz Khalifa's Pirates. The Cards did let go of Brendan Ryan.

The Reds will have a Young SS starting next year, Paul Janish, and no Team in the NL central Possibly NL, does not have more power than us. Our Power: Votto, Bruce, Stubbs, Gomes and even a Pitcher named Arloidis Chapman. Who threw over 105 MPH last year in his Debut.

It looks like a Good Season for the Reds who are the Favorites, but The NL is Wide open. Heres the OMOC Sports Predictions NL: Reds, Philles, Giants, Rockies.
