By Hunter Hendrickson Roberto Nelson, The Oregon State Forward had a Career day today vs. UIC which beaver Fans were looking very forward to. He and Jared Cunningham ripped apart the UIC Flames 74-54, Heres what happened.....
The Beavers opened with the lead and kept it all the way to the end starting with a 27-9 run that Nelson had a couple points in and so did Cunningham.
The Beavers took a 39-19 lead at the half, One of the most biggest leads ever at the half in Beaver history 3 men all had 10 points at the half, Cunningham, Nelson, and Starks.
The Beavers opened up in the 2nd half with a 48-26 lead tremondous Ball playing by these boys.
The Beavers would then take a 55-37 lead and thats when Beaver nation could breathe and say, "Yes! We finally won."
And yes the Beavers won 74-54 in their last Non-Confrence game Nelson finished with 14 points, Cunningham had 22 and Starks had 12.
