Rolen, Phillips, and Arroyo Win Gold Gloves

By: Cooper Ledford and Hunter Hendrickson

Three members of the 2010 National League Central Champion, Cincinnati Reds, have won a gold glove for their outstanding defense in the 2010 season.

Scott Rolen wins his 8th gold glove, after 8 errors, and a .977 fielding percentage. Scotty R. also had a 10.6 URZ.

Brandon Phillips won a gold glove award in 2008, and now 2 years later, he wins his second award. B-Phil put up a .996 fielding percentage, and had only 3 errors.

As for the veteran workhorse, Bronson Arroyo, he had a 17 game winner, a great pitcher, but his glove was nothing shy of great either. He had no errors, and put up 31 assist, along with turning 5 double plays. Votto didnt win a golden Glove, but still has a Chance for MVP!
