Stubbs beats the Cubs,But Bullpen struggles

On Wendsday,The cincinnati reds Edison Volquez pitched great through 6.2 innngs.Too bad he didnt get the win.In the 3rd,Ramon Hernandez broke the scoreless tie with an RBI single that scored Drew Stubbs from 2nd base.But in the bottom of the 3rd Derrick lee tied the game at 1 with a sac fly that scored Kouske Fukudome.It was tied at 1 until the 8th,Drew Stubbs would bomb one in to center for his 14 homer of the year,and the tiebreaking run.In the 9th,Stubbs

came up clutch again with an RBI single that scored Lanyce Nix.But in the bottom of the 9th,the reds bullpen was absoultley horrible.Fransisco Cordero came in the game to go for his 31st save of the season he walked the first 3 batters,then hit Starlin Castro with a pitch that scored a run so its 4-2.Nick masset came in and got 2 outs and then walked a batter,so it would be 4-3.Marlon Byrd was the last batter,and he would go down swinging and the reds would win it 4-3.The reds are on a 3 game win streak and now 15 games above .500!!!
